چکیده

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) remains a significant clinical challenge in neonatal medicine. BPD is clearly multifactorial disease with numerous antenatal and postnatal components influencing lung development. Extremely immature infants are born the late canalicular or early saccular stage usually receive intensive care until alveolar of development, resulting varying magnitudes impairment septation, fibrosis, abnormal vascular The interactions between T lymphocytes, genome epigenome, microbiome metabolome, as well nutrition therapeutic interventions such exposure to oxygen, volutrauma, antibiotics, corticosteroids, caffeine omeprazole, play an important role pathogenesis progression. While our general understanding these thanks basic research improving, this knowledge yet be translated into comprehensive prevention management strategies for benefit preterm developing later during infancy childhood suffering from itself its sequelae. In review, we summarise existing evidence on interplay multi-omics currently used BPD, highlight avenues potential future immunology related field.

Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) continues to be the most common and most important complication in preterm infants with RDS. The incidence varies from 20 to 60 % in preterm infants whose weight are < 1500 gram. The presence of BPD is often associated with significant mortality and short term and long term morbidity, including growth failure and neurodevelopment delay. The exact mechanism and p...

Introduction Many advances in neonatology in the last several decades have allowed for the resuscitation, support, and survival of more preterm infants. The mortality associated with respiratory disease in this population of micropremies has been altered significantly by the use of antenatal corticosteroids, postnatal surfactant, improved respiratory support technology, and enhanced nutritional...

Pathogenesis of bronchopulmonary dysplasia.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) refers to a heterogeneous group of lung disorders in infants that is commonly associated with prematurity and surfactant deficiency. BPD results from the complex interplay between impairments in the premature lung such as surfactant deficiency, perinatal insults such as infection, and damage resulting from supportive care of the infant due to barotrauma or volut...
